Thank you! He built both of the big ones for me. It was cheaper for him to buy the materials and build for me. If i had bought both coops i would have spent around $6000..
The red 4x6 cost $600 in materials and the 6x8 tan one was $1000 in materials. Both have electric hooked up too . And both coops the windows and doors were either free or $50 .

Yes, the big dutch door was free. I can open the top and leave the bottom closed. All 5 windows from both coops i won at a livestock auction for $50. . Both coops have electric set up so i can plug in electric water bowls so the water doesnt freeze or hook up fans in the summer The kennel fencing i bought from a dog trainer whos husband passed away so i got all.the kennel panels for $200 (22 panels).

55 is a very lucky hen. I have a blind 11 year old . Whether outside or inside, I keep all the water and feed in the same place and tap on the bowls when treats are added. She's from the first hatch I ever had! Princess Fluffy Britches.
Old hens are well worth their comfort in their later years. My next notable hen will be named 51 after the fire house on Chicago Fire!
