Today Louise is doing some weird behaviors.
She runs around the entire yard then goes into the coop then back out again and runs around the entire yard then back in the coop then out , runs around the yard then in the coop then out .. repeat allll afternoon. Just a big circle of repeating ....

Let's see. I had a Polish who ran circles backwards several times. I believe it was brain damage. My Eddy was a Polish roo who -I don't know what happened to him. It was almost as tho a hawk dropped him. There were no peck marks on his head but he had feathers pulled out.
He then walked backwards while looking backwards for a few months. I spoon fed him for over a month. I had just quit smoking and was using an e-cig in both hands. He got better and then sortof wasted away.
So I'll say maybe stroke, brain damage or heat stroke. Or some kind of big scare.

Yea hopefully it will clear up when it cools off. In the meantime, I would see if I could soak her legs in cool water. I remember my horse did it too one time. He kept walking a circle over and over and stopping for a sip of water. I called the vet but after 2.5 days of circling, he quit.

Yep it had to be heat stroke. She is back to normal now. Ill dip her in water if it happens again.

Great! I'm always on the lookout for anyone who looks like they're not doing very well in the heat, mostly they get to pant too fast to drink water.
