Looks good! I should take pics of mine. A shiny coin. I had shiny pennies. Mine are hung from shoulder to bottom rib height. And about 5-7 feet away from the food.
The one at the horse barn died, and someone actually put a replacement up! I've never been bothered by flies in the "chair" area with the bag hanging. Weird.

I wonder what the theory is behind why this works...I'm so curious. I would try it but we have no flies. We did earlier in the year but they are gone now, haven't seen a one in over a month.

They are gone. All of them. Both coops have 0 flies. Im shocked and amazed.
THANK YOU!!!!
I walked into both coops just now and there were 0 flies. I used a gallon ziplock bag ,filled halfway with water, added a shiny penny, closed it up and hung them up...

I had some too today. Must have been the high humidity (foggy windows). But only in one out of 5 spots. It's not perfect but you see it makes a difference. For free. Or cost a penny.

It's been almost 2 months since I started hanging zip lock baggies with water and a shiny penney or dime in them and I can say it works great. Their feed bowls used to be covered with flies every day and it grossed me out. Since I've hung those baggies, each one about 8 feet away from the food bowls and waist to shoulder high, 90% drop in flies. I would say for a free and easy way , this tops all. Even tops most sprays because it isn't something you have to redo every day. Whooda thunk?
