That's really awful. I hope you find her or she died quickly without knowing what struck her. Sorry if you lost her.

I still haven't seen her or heard her and the drake that checked on her a lot isn't even looking for her so I'm pretty sure something got her. I guess I'll see if she still hasn't shown up in a few more days. Thanks for you guys' concern.

I still haven't seen her so I know for sure she's gone now. I've got another 1,a drake, having the same ankle problem a duck went through a month or so ago that makes it hard to walk for awhile. They go through it while they're molting. My neighbor's drake is going through it too. Well anyway,my African Brown gander has been attacking the drake so last night I left the drake out all night on the pond. I figured he'd be better off avoiding danger from a coyote if he'd stay on the pond than from a big gander locked up with him in the same building. Luckily he was still here this morning, just swimming around on the pond. I know for 1 thing,I won't be getting anymore Peking ducks, too many health problems. I'll be going back to the brown ones,if I can find them .

I guess waterfowl has it's problems as well. The 4 geese I had attacked the chickens so I had to separate them. I believe one Polish hen got her leg grabbed thru the fence and broke. The vet reset it and she lived another 1.5 year.

I never had any health problems with my pekins. I am kind of like "huh?" lol I had a drake and 2 ducks (pekins, I don't have any pekins anymore). The only behaviour problems I had was before I got the ducks (hens), my pekin drake and my khaki drake would attempt bedroom activities with each other. They never bullied my chickens.

My two drake Pekins, Mel and Stella (I throught they were ladies) and my one mallard, Greenhead, are always hitching rides on each other and floating on top of another. They are so funny!

yeah they do that....weird critters They never hurt the females, they were just obsessed with mating with each other. I still don’t know why they do that

The Canadian geese went missing Wednesday and I found them down at my neighbor's which is 1/3 mile away. They were hanging out with the 2 ducks I gave him last Summer. We were hoping they'd follow his ducks into the barn so I could catch them but they didn't. Today they're gone and have no idea where they flew off too. As cold as it is today everything is frozen so they probably went looking for water. Don't know if I'll ever see them again or not.

On a good note,1 of the geese found it's way back home today so I'd say something got the other 1,they never left each other's side.
