I love my chickens, but just wondering if there will be a waterfowl board or even "other livestock" board created here? Or am I missing it? Thanks!

I'd love a guinea fowl thread, too. I hope to get some next year, to kill off those horrid ticks. (Land based non chickens? Some better name?)
Maybe call it guineas, quail, pheasant...?

Guineas.Excellent for bug control and an alarm system that works when the electric is out.I didn't have a tick problem when I had them.Plus, they are suppose to be good to eat and are served in finer restaurants. They are a wild bird so not very tame and their eggs are weird.A lot of people raise quail/pheasant/other game birds around here.I know some people have turkeys, too. There's all kinds of poultry out there.I haven't figured out how to create a whole new thread like that, yet, but good idea.

I did a new forum for quail and peafowl.
CQ, I don't know what you can do but can you go to Admin, then look for structure and click on that and see if you get a page that you can add a new category?

I wrote it down and I'll play with it when I get bored at night.A lot of times I don't know where to start so maybe that will open things up and I can figure it out. Thanks for starting a new heading for the other fowl.Maybe next time I can do it myself.4 military copters just flew over the house, heading north toward WPAFB.I heard them way before I saw them,as always.Every time I hear them I go running out to watch them fly by.Their traffic has increased from hearing one occasionally to hearing them once or twice a week(or more),with multiple copters in formation over the last year or so.I'm hoping it's a sign of a more funded, organized and trained military on the peoples' side.
