Beautiful day today and same for the rest of the week. I'm going fishing out in the boat at Fernandina Beach early in the morning, hitting the jetties early. I'm bringing my camera and will get a few pics.

Thunderstorms started in the early morning hours, over 2 inches of rain, the ground was so dry it just sucked up all the water so at least we didn't flood, it's muddy but not bad. It was not very pleasant today, damp, chilly, more fall like than spring.

We have had so much rain in the past few days, everything is standing water, the runs are flooded, I had to set up little platforms in the yard for the ducks and chickens to get out of the water. Thankfully today it didn't rain, the water has gone down some but not enough, you can't see the ducks legs when they are standing in the water. It looks like the next few days are rain free, hopefully it will drain away or soak in or whatever. I'm worried about the chickens and ducks feet being wet constantly. At least they dry off overnight in their houses, they are dry.

NO rain today, woot! The yard is mostly drained leaving behind soupy mud. Looks like we may be getting a day or two of sunshine before we get another round of rain next week.

Here it is, May 12th, Mother's Day...Happy mother's day to all our Mom's and those of us that are Mom's. (Yes, chicken Mom's count!)
It's been unseasonably cold and very rainy, we can't even get out of the 50's during the day and upper 30's at night. We are beginning to Wonder if Easter Sunday was our Summer (it was 84 that day). We might be having fall now. We keep checking the tiny baby leaves on the trees for fall colors hahahahaha...
Hope you all are doing well, it's been so dead here recently, like an entire week without a single post. I miss you guys

It has been a very rainy spring all over the place it seems. We had sun today and the temps got into the mid 60's but otherwise, it's just been rain rain rain

Nice, cool and sunny today, very comfortable to be out in the yard. That'll change when we start creeping back up to the low 90's later this week.
Everyone is getting outside and doing work due to warmer weather. No more winter hibernation lol.

Rain and thunderstorms today, didn't get out of the 50's but I understand that's going to change later in the week. It will be nice to be warm, still some rain coming sporadically but it doesn't look too bad.

It was sunny and 76 today, things are trying to dry up. We are hoping tomorrow won't rain so we can finish the new duck coop. They are saying 87 and partly sunny so hopefully we will get finished up and the ducks can move in tomorrow. *crosses fingers*
