This arrived earlier this week, and should have arrived the week of May 26th. But. It's here and I like it. I will have to figure out how to best put attachments (ie, the photos) in posts on this forum, but at any rate, the coop and run are 7 feet wide, and 16 feet long. There will be electronet runs outside the coop. I have the electronet, and a solar charger. The friend who sold the electronet and charger to me will come early next week so we can set this up together, in the hands of a pro. 11 birds (one is a future rooster). They all went in this morning, six weeks of age. The broiler birds were in there temporarily until I could get the chicken tractor set up... they're now home there! I've hung a feeder inside, and will be doing intensive water setups. The broilers managed to break the feeder, but that was okay as I didn't mean that feeder to be permanent, and had a metal replacement to hand (which the layers are now using).

I must have 400 feet of electric netting for chickens. Got to put it up now.

The layers went in on Friday, and the door to the run part of this I opened this morning, after wanting them to associate the coop itself with grain feeding and night time safety. Several of the birds are very curious, and I've been encouraging them.
I will be putting in a night light for their coop proper starting this evening, so they get drawn back in. (Battery operated camping lantern.)
I love these layers!!!

I built one that was 4x16 up on 4x4 stilts with a front crawl in door and a trap door in the rear for ease of cleanout, loved it. But yours is a walk in and that'll make things much easier for you. I love it!

Yup I've learned to make everything taller than my head. I've bumped my head so many times!

Actually, I still bump my head, but only in the doorway (I am six feet tall.) But inside, I can stand, which is worth it to me.
