One of the 4 day old bredas has its leg out to one side. I am guessing its from the training pads and heat warmer being low. I cant get its leg back where it should be. This is the 2nd one so im skipping the training pads and just using shavings as it seems the training pads are to slick

Wow. Vet just saw us. Splinting (hobbling his legs for a week) and add vitamins to the water. See how it goes per vet. Could be achilles or vitamin deficiency per vet.

So hobbles are off. The vet hobbled it so it falls flat on its face wtf.. it couldnt walk or stand at all. i doubled up vitamins in the water.

Aw, maybe you can come up with something that will work, 1/2 a bandaid? Rubberband? Something very soft but limits the legs from being apart too much?

One time I had to support a chick by standing him in a mug and putting packing around him. It kept him upright. Or keep the hobbles on for a certain amount of time.
I know when I had 2 chicks get splay leg I wrapped the legs with a space in the middle around their legs. The bandaid was cut lengthwise. It took them both a while but so enough they were running around with it.

Yeah. wouldn't expect that from a Brinsea. I have always kept a styro in my closet just in case. It's cheap and it's there.
I hope things will work out.

How is tendon chick ? Have you come up with anything? Do you have a pic of his problem? At least the vet said it was okay and gave you direction on how to deal with it.
