First I'll start off with a funny story. I asked the PO to notify me. However MurrayMc had listed phone numbers to contact me. One of them must have been my aparents from years ago. So my dad in Florida gets a call at 5am to pick up his chicks . He has no idea what the man is talking about and hangs up. Finally they call me at 5:15.
I get 6 Houdans, 6 Barred rocks and 3 Buff Orpingtons. One Houdan is puny for 4 days. I try feeding her but it's just not happening. She died this morning. How sad! It's hard even when it's beyond your control. The Barred Rocks are going to be huge! I'm keeping 3, selling 3 Orps and 3 Barred rocks. Yes I have Marek's in my flock but yes these chicks are super quarantined for a few weeks to let the vaccine take effect.
I need more chicks like a hole in the head. But who can resist getting chicks?
