I have a Houdan hen who's always been a psycho. Like she wants to be held but she pecks me. She will attack my hand and I always keep her faced away from my face. For the past few weeks she's been having some weird periods but now it seems like it's all day. She's back to calling until I pick her up. So tomorrow is her big day and I'll take her with me over to the barn where I'm working on a door and gutters. I can't imagine what psycho thoughts are going thru her mind.

My houdan is a pyscho too, now i know why the guy was getting rid of her

I took her over to where I was working on the barn door and she stayed right by me happily pecking around really enjoying herself. Stayed very aware of where I was. It was a nice day for her!

ME, what does your psycho Houdan do?
Mine now cries until she can be with me. Wants to be held all the time but still bites if I let her. She's been going out with the Polish/silkie flock during the day. I figure as long as she doesn't stalk and attack anyone.

She attacks all the other hens for no reason. If they look at her the wrong way she goes after them. She has been a bitch since i got her

Mine is still at it. She hears the screen door open in the morning at the house and starts her crying. When I'm back there she is right next to my leg. She still pecks real hard tho.

My psycho was allowed to join the main flock of silkies and Polish and is getting along well. She still whines for me all day and insists on being held. Now this BO has decided that she wants to be held too. So they are under my feet and pecking my legs to be picked up. Also one Polish wants to be held but is not as insistent. I just love them to pieces!
