I've put it off long enough and need to renew my driver's license in Indiana. It's 50 questions and should not be hard but I'm not in the mood to have to retake it every day till I get all the answers. Sheesh. I wish this was an open book test.
Now they want SS card, 2 bills with address, and my birth certificate and any paper that shows a name change like a marriage certificate, and probably my current license.

I went through all that nonsense when I moved to Florida. The good thing is that I didnt have to take a written test nor driving test. Florida recognizes Georgia's drivers and motorcycle licenses as valid.

My "registration of birth certificate" was not accepted. They want a Birth certificate. There is a difference but I think it's all a gimmick or made up by people who don't know what they're doing. One is registered with the state and one is sent to dept of health. I don't see how one is more secure.

Yea the whole thing is nuts. Why should it matter if one signed copy goes to the state and the other to the dept of health? Why is one considered better legally?
The one thing I'm happy with is that "illegals" won't be able to get a license. But now if Florida wants to have illegals allowed to get driver's licenses, what is all this BS going to solve? I need to prove the baby footprints are mine and illegals don't?

I applied myself to some agency that works with the NY dept of health and gets birth certificates. Now get this. To get a driver's license I need a certified birth certificate. To get a certified birth certificate I need a photo ID/driver's license. Is the world getting more retarded?
