It's probably too early to be fussing about this but this evening I was in my kitchen and could hear this noise, it sounded like a very high pitched, short, harsh "weet". I knew it was a duck but holy cow, wth? So went outside and found one of my khaki's sneezing, a lot! many weet noises over and over. I immediately put all the ducks back in their heated run, changed their water and added extra pine shavings to their coop. I also added garlic to their water (anti bacterial, good for respiratory issues). I hope I have caught it before it gets bad but I don't suppose anyone knows anything about respiratory illness in ducks?

I dont know anything about respiratory issues in ducks. There are many types of respiratory diseases that chickens can get and all are very contagious. Surviving birds are carriers for life. Antibiotics treat symptoms but dont cure the disease. Unfortunately organics wont treat nor cure these diseases, including garlic.
Before assuming that your duck has a respiratory disease, I'd check the environment that they live in for causes first. These examples can be corrected or eliminated; ammonia fumes from soiled bedding in the coop, improper ventilation, inhalation of feed dust to cause sneezing/wheezing or head shaking or neck scratching, dust inhalation from dirt bathing, Diatomeceous Earth (DE,) pollen, pesticides.
Sneezing ALOT would indicate to me in a chicken that it would be something in the environment, otherwise other birds would be sneezing as well. In your ducks case, I suspect possible feed inhalation. Hopefully the sneezing will dislodge and expel the feed boogers in the nares. Just in case, keep an eye on the rest of your ducks for sneezing. If it happens, it's safe to say it's a respiratory disease.
I forgot to add that mold, mildew or fungus in bedding or inside the coop can cause sneezing as well. Removing and replacing bedding, scrubbing inside the coop with bleachwater will take care of these problems.

Ty Dawg but it's a simple cold, I had her to the vet today. He said the garlic is fine and this evening she isn't sneezing anymore. Our temps have been so up and down and it's been so wet that he is seeing a lot of colds in the animals lately. He took a sample of drainage from her nose and couldn't find anything other than simple bacteria. He said continue the garlic since it's an immune system booster as well as antibacterial and keep her warm until it clears up. As of this evening, none of the other ducks are sneezing. Since they all drink out of the same bowl, they are all getting the garlic so I don't expect any more issues.

Ty Sem, she was completely over it in about 4 days and none of the other ducks got it so I was very lucky that it wasn't worse and didn't spread.
