Today is lockdown for my lavender ameracauna eggs. I started out with 12 eggs - lavender ameracauna eggs and some olive egger eggs... Well im down to 7 eggs. A bunch were not fertile and some quit at the 2 week mark.
After this im done for the season

You have done a ton of hatching!! I can't wait to see this batch! I'm sorry that they didn't all work out but 7 isn't bad.

Its drying off now with the baby bredas. Hopefully the other eggs hatch fast so i can put this one and the others on their side of the brooder

When I started getting multiple cockerels I sold my pricey incubator but kept the styro with temp control and humidity readout for when I get antsy about hatching, LOL.
ME I once had a JG who was born breech, had passed meconium and as very rapid tackypnick (sp). All I could do was leave him in the bator and see if he'd recover and he did. Just like some newborns!

#1 is with the others drying off. I broke my rule and helped it out only cause it was fighting to live. So now its up to itself.
