Thanx guys  She sent me a pic of the sonogram then the next day she sent me a pic of her baby bump lol and today she sent me a video with audio of the baby's heartbeat. I'm just so excited! I need to get crocheting little baby things!! |

A nice Christmas gift are a couple packs of baby diapers, and of course crocheted baby booties to keep them tiny feet warm! Then for your daughters birthday, more baby diapers. time to stock up lol.

lol, yep, already working on booties and a matching sweater. Diapers are too heavy to mail(expensive!!), plus my daughter's birthday is December 20th lol. I will never forget the hospital sent her home in a candy striped stocking and tiny santa hat when we were discharged on the 23rd. I will likely send a gift card to be used for diapers or maybe I can buy online and have them pick them up or something. Not to worry, Grandma is going to make sure this baby is spoiled rotten! My mother is going to spoil him/her too, it will be their first great grand baby.

Is that baby getting close? She is due May 25th. My daughter sends me frequent baby bump pics and ultrasound pics in texts. I have crocheted a bonnet, booties and am almost done with a blanket for her and have been shopping each payday. I have a pair of pants for the baby in all of the age increments (0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months) and matching shirts for each age. this coming payday will be onesies and socks. She has invited me to her baby shower on April 6th but I'm not sure we can afford it. Actually, I'm very sure we can't lol but if by some miracle I do get to go, I am prepared to buy several packs of diapers in different sizes to go along with everything else that I have. I'll just buy the diapers once I get out there. If I can't go then I will buy her a wal mart gift card or something like that to buy the diapers herself. |

The Walmart gift card sounds good so she can get what baby needs. With the diapers can you get them on amazon and "free ship" them to her? I do that with a lot of gifts because then I don't have to bother with sending it. You can probably do it thru Walmart online too.

Something like that. Maybe it's $25.00. However, maybe send 1 order of 2 sizes and get the free shipping. It's better than the aggravation of buying them and doing it yourself. I have Prime and I'm very happy with it. And the bonus of some pretty good Amazon free series like "Bosch".

I don't shop online enough to make paying for Prime worth it. I'm kind of a "brick and mortar" type girl.
