And my breda pullet i hatched out died. All my juvies are all sick. 12 of them... they are all 5 months to 6 months old. Even my lavender ameracaunas are sick. Groucho hasnt shown yet. Im so upset its not even funny. The main issue is the MG, the way it hits is terrible. The breda pullet was fine yesterday, ive been checking everyone every 4 hours and all night like a crazy lady , putting vitamins etc in the water to try to help. For whatever reason the cold air makes it pop out and hit fast within a day or two .
npip here in nj sucks. They only test for pollurum and ai and is free. If you want other testing then you pay.
They should be testing for mareks , mg, coryza, LL. . I want to contact the breeder again and ream her out just for my own satisfaction, but i know she doesnt care.
Dawg i can keep chicks in my house and my porch for 3 months , which is normally what i do.

It's like living thru Marek's. I've had to let it run it's course and take the birds it's going to and wait and see who's left. You are right with the supportive care. I just found out that dried meal worms are 50% protein! I accidentally bought 10 pounds. What a mistake. If you'd like some, let me know. 10 pounds is like way too much for me.

Karen keep the mealworns you are going to need them for the winter to give the chickens.. mealworms in winter is a chickens best friend!!. Get some black oil sunflower seeds too, that helps also, and better then cracked corn. I also feed grubbies, mine go nuts over them

I agree with ME, keep the mealworms, they last forever and you'll want them through the winter.

Not too much with the BOSS. The oil can coat intestinal lining preventing proper nutrient absorption.

I don't think I'm giving that much, like 2 handfuls to 22 chickens. I think they all decided that they like them!
