What sort of housing do folk use to quarantine birds...

I want to have something on hand Just In Case, like perhaps a dog kennel.  Thoughts, experience?

I've used cages to quarantine birds kept in the garage away from the rest of the flock or when I've treated birds for tapeworms.

I have a rabbit/bird hutch on my patio. I can spray it down with Virkon prior to using it, and the floor is hardware cloth so it's easy to keep clean.

Empty plastic gallon water containers and empty plastic quart milk containers make excellent feeders and waterers in cages. They fit perfectly in corners. Simply use a box cutter to cut them open, then tie them off on the cage and they're ready for use. Keep them elevated so the birds cant make a mess.

Biggest thing is contamination. Dawg and others are big on changing clothes, spraying , etc.. i agree 10000% with them

Lysol spray must be good according to the can. I also try not to reach over them or have my head or hair over them.
