I'm going fishing early this morning to the south end of Amelia Island again. Hopefully the Whiting will be biting hahaha! I'll post pics if we catch some fish.

Yesterday I went to pick up Grouper after my appt. and I couldn't remember how far down the street it was, so I totally did not pass it on the way home. So we had sea scallops pan seared. Yumm what a smell. They were so good!

Sounds good Karen! I only caught 3 Whiting, the outgoing tide was too strong to hold a sinker on the bottom. No pics neither, I got the fish cleaned and put in the freezer pronto because I was tired.

I'm going fishing this morning. The rest of the week is sewed up, especially with the new chicks arriving between Tuesday to Thursday sometime. Got alot to do this week. Retirement sucks, how in the world was I able to get things done when I was still working is beyond me.

I'm taking a break tomorrow from coop building to go fishing. The weather is supposed to be questionable (what's new?) with possible heavy rains and thunderstorms in the morning.

Fishing trip cancelled due to rain. I worked on the new coop instead. No cool temps yet like the weatherguessers had forecast, phoooey on them!

I'm taking the day off tomorrow and going fishing. I've got a new shrimp net and I'm ready to cast it in the water and catch minnows for bait besides the the shrimp I already use. I'll post pics if I catch anything.

I caught some nice Whiting and Croaker today. By the time I remembered to take a few pics, I already had the fished cleaned and put in the freezer lol.
Tomorrow morning I'm taking the boat out to the jetties at Fernandina Beach.

I think we're out of fish so I may stop for some tomorrow. Probably grouper maybe flounder. The flounder I got last time was nice thick filets and they were good.

I went fishing this morning and it was a cold start with a chilly west wind. I then moved to the ocean side and the sand dunes blocked the wind. I caught some nice sized bull Whiting just after sunrise.
