my niece has a computer that looks like that but her's is garbage, very slow, has almost no memory, can barely boot itself up. she regrets buying it but it was cheap. Maybe it's not the same one though.

That's why cheap computers are cheap, LOL. I may be a laptop snob, but I know I'll be spending at least $500 or more. Speed, memory, processor, storage, all cost money.

can't you get antivirus on it? or anti malware program or something? There has to be a way to fix it.

can't you get antivirus on it? or anti malware program or something? There has to be a way to fix it. It’s extremely slow and keeps showing pop ups if antivirus ads but I think they are more viruses. I’ll have to look for a trusted one.

There are a lot of cons out there who scare you into a cleaning and antivirus for hundreds of dollars. They'll tell you how much you're damaged and need them to fix it. Beware!

The bestest cheapest thing to do first is go to Programs. Delete all programs that you don't want, don't know why you have, or don't know what it is. It takes a while. But when downloading programs, they bring all their rotten neighbors with them . I'm constantly checking my Program file. It's under Control Panel.

I think I fried my hard drive. Got a new laptop but it does not like my printer. I need to get my documents off the old one. And faithfully use a cloud from now on.
