I don't eat many eggs either. When I do it's over easy!

We do eat some egg salad now and then and my husband likes to snack on boiled eggs. I bake a lot so that helps but even with all of this, I can't go through a dozen eggs a week. Oh, we do enjoy deviled eggs occasionally too.
I am a sucker for the babies that are "outcasts" or if all of it's clutchmates are gone and he's all alone in the bin. I am also quite partial to the odd looking ones, the ones that don't look like the others lol, maybe "this" one has more black on her than the others or something like that hahaha...I have a problem, I think I need a support group!

Dawg, did you get a Jersey at some point? Yep, she's one of the four in the Brat Pack. She's a good layer along with the rest of them.

How is the personality of the Brahmas vs the Jersey? The JG is kind of skittish. The Brahmas let me pick them up.

Really? your JG is skittish? mine are the most calm, sweet, lovable birds I've ever had, they come right up to my hand and hop on as soon as I stick it in there. I put my hand in to clean shavings out of their feed bowl and I have to take the JG's off my hand so I can do it.

This is my first JG I've ever owned, and yes, I've heard that they are friendly. She will eat treats out of my hand as does the rest of them, and she'll squat for me, but that's about it. As a matter of fact, she is the worst one of the Brat Pack to worm. She puts up a heckuva fight when I worm her and I end up with the wormer on me most of the time lol. She's a strong feisty bird! On the otherhand, the Brahma's are calm and friendly, easy to handle and to worm...and like to cuddle. They like to 'talk' when I pick them up. (Probably telling me to put them down on the ground lol.)
